Residents of Gurgaon demands the completion of Dwarka Expressway sooner

27  September, Gurugram: Due to the unending work and construction of Dwarka Expressway, the residents have done a peaceful protest against the authorities of NHAI.  The main issue arose when the NHAI took a tender of constructing the entire project. Instead the residents said that in spite of taking the stretch of 10 kms, the government should take the complete stretch of construction. The home buyers are claiming that they bought a home in lacs. Their major complaint is that they have spent loads of money for buying the apartments.

In reference to this, the buyers of these flats have made a committee for generating a protest against this matter.  The areas are covered under the Dexp Welfare Association. Under this association, the major concern of the leader of association state that “The government is not serious about the Dwarka Expressway as several deadlines have been missed. In reference to this, critical bottlenecks have only increased with time. Litigation issues pertaining to land acquisition for connecting peripheral road (CPR) and in New Palam Vihar have not been resolved. We demand temporary connectivity between Dwarka and New Palam Vihar so that those who are living in new sectors can benefit,” said Gaurav Prakash.
