District Town & Country Planner additional chief secretary P Raghvendra Rao and Huda chief administrator Brijendra Singh had inspected the expressway to make background for commencement the work
There are several villages along Dwarka Expressway with a good number of cattle. Most villagers let the cattle free to graze, which then stray on roads.
“In such situations, not only is safety of the cattle at risk, it also poses a threat to drivers,” said Huda chief engineer D D Chopra.
The expressway, is likely to be finished by AUG 2016,will decongest traffic in Gurgaon by allowing traffic from Jaipur side to skip the Gurgaon expressway and head straight towards Dwarka and IGI Airport. The NPR will be the third link road connecting Delhi and Gurgaon after National Highway 8 & Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road. So far only 14.50 km of the expressway has been completed.
