10 km Elevated Road To Come Up on Dwarka Expressway

20 September, Gurugram:  The elevated road will begin from Gurgaon-Delhi border and finish close to the Basai railway overbridge in Sector 100 .The cost of the whole project has been calculable at ₹1,800 crore, a NHAI official aforementioned.

The Dwarka Expressway will be executed in phases. Within the initial part, tenders are floated for the 10 km road which is able to be elevated. The aim of the elevated road is to separate native traffic from the expressway’s long distance traffic.

In October 2016, the NHAI took over the Northern Peripheral Road, that is additionally called the Dwarka Expressway, from the Haryana government and named it NH 248-B. Before the NHAI took it over, the Huda had completed the 16.5 km portion in Gurgaon and RoB on Delhi-Rewari railway track at Basai.

The NHAI has been constructing underpasses at Hero Honda Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Signature Tower and Iffco Chowk. The roads authority made a flyover at Hero Honda Chowk and construction is current for the 2 elevated reversions at Iffco Chowk whereas another U-turn tunnel is projected on the highway close to Ambience mall.
